Living-learning communities are interest-specific residencies where you can live, connect and socialize with other students who share your passion.

Our living-learning Communities provide a number of academic support, 专业发展, and personal growth opportunities for residents. Benefits of living in an LLC include:
- Connecting with fellow Scotties, faculty and 工作人员 around common interests.

Expectations of Students Participating in the Living-Learning社区
- Attend at least three events hosted by your community per semester.
- Participate in the opening and closing events.
- Participate in meetings facilitated by the RA and/or Residence Life 工作人员.
- Participate in living-learning community assessments — approximately one each semester.
- Abide by college policies and remain in good disciplinary standing.
- Sign and follow the living-learning resident contract.
Residence Life 工作人员 and Resident Assistants
Each living-learning community has a student Resident Assistant living in the community. 类风湿性关节炎:
- Coordinates engaging and educational programs each semester.
- We encourage communities to invite professors who connect to your community’s theme.
- Assists in the planning of the open house event in the fall semester for all living-learning communities.
- Attends and participates in the student organization fair during Welcome Week.
- Participates and assists the communities with SpARC presentations to showcase the living-learning communities.

- Participates and hosts a year-end celebration honoring and showcasing the living-learning communities.
- Participates in assessments of the living-learning communities program.
Associate Director of Residence Life
The Associate Director of Residential Education lives on campus and acts as an adviser to the living-learning communities. In addition to collaborating with Resident Assistants, the Associate Director supports, guides and participates in events. 副主任:

- Takes an active part in formulating the goals of the group.
- Assists in the assessment process.
- Participates in program planning.
